Lydia J. Nightingale is an artist in several mediums presently living in upstate NY. She has performed in shows all over and beyond the Capital District, from Albany and Latham to New Paltz and Rhinebeck. Her plays have been presented in Albany, New Paltz, and most recently in New York City. She is currently working for Albany Medical Center as a Residency Coordinator and holds an MA in Public History from the University at Albany. Her primary mission as a writer is to produce engaging and instructive pieces that expose audiences to diverse perspectives in history, particularly those of women.
