Lydia J. Nightingale is an artist in several mediums presently living in Western NY. She has performed in shows all over and beyond New York’s Capital District, from Albany and Latham to New Paltz and Rhinebeck. Her plays have been presented in Albany, New Paltz, New York City and Geneva. She has volunteered and worked with the Albany County Historical Association, the Martin Van Buren National Historic Site, and the National Susan B. Anthony Museum & House. Lydia’s mission as a writer is to produce engaging and instructive pieces that expose audiences to diverse perspectives in history, particularly those of women.
